The Ultimate secret of Life

First to the disclaimer, this article for those who believe in rebirth. If you believe in one and only birth, it may be or may not be applicable to you. But one thing for sure is that this article is to make a rebirth as a one time birth concept but with different twist.

Now we all are under impression about the all pain or happiness in our present life is based on our deeds in previous birth. There are lot of books that talk about our past life, now there are particular course/music that are available for "past life regression". So here I am not denying about previous birth, there is no doubt about past life not even one , but many life's before the present one.

But the thing I am trying to communicate, about the concept of pain/suffering/happiness due to our deeds in your past life. Think of it this way, if there is GOD and he/she kept account for our deeds from past life. He/she wouldn't be letting us know that what deed will result in a reward and what deed will result in punishment. So that we can keep up with good deeds and avoid bad deeds. If God exists would he/she allow such a injustice about passing a verdict without even letting us know for what crime we are getting punished or how we can keep up the good deeds so that we never get fallen into bad deeds.

Now the big question is, what passes from one birth to another? It is definitely not a body, so it is not possible to be a brain( that gives us concept of mind) or heart(this gives us concept of emotions). Now what is left is consciousness (in Hindi "chetna") and soul, but this is a very big topic of discussion about two separate things as consciousness and soul, and one can give thousand arguments, they are different or they are same thing. Let's for sake of discussion we treat both of them as the same , we call it a soul.

So if we just simply follow our old scriptures about soul( the reason I am pointing it out to old scriptures, as they are the main culprit about defining hell, heaven, and deeds from past life's). This soul cannot be burned, drowned, cut, wounded or killed, it is the most purest form and it never ever get corrupted/purified by our deeds ( good or bad). So if this the purest form, is transferred from one life to another, so now who is carrying the deeds from past life. Is this soul carrying forward the deeds, if yes then it is not the purest form, if not, then there is no accounting from past life's carrying forward to our present life.

On a similar argument, how is the purest form going to go heaven or hell? Is it possible to have another thing/place purest from the soul (means heaven) and is it possible that such a purest thing have to suffer (means hell).

So all these lies about past life deeds, heaven or hell, all are the lies written in old scriptures , just to keep a tab on society by our own priests, parents and elders etc.

Now another big question how there is poverty, suffering, child birth issues etc, how come one is born in slum and one born with silver spoon, one born with such a brilliance like Einstein and one born complete dumb.
To explain, first I would like to go in detail about soul and god/nature. I say each individual soul is nothing but source of energy and nature is big energy pool from where everyone is extracting our life force and when dies goes back to this pool. Think this as electricity, as electricity doesn't have any form but now give life to so many appliances , now as metaphor treat appliances as living thing (like human, animals, sea animals, trees etc.) whose soul is when they get appropriate watt of electricity. So when you pass electricity from 20W bulb, it is give some level of light(poor), when same electricity passes from 40W(rich) bulb it more light and so on. Similarly when electricity passes from fan it rotate the fan, think of it, it is same electricity which passes from bulb and passes from fan and change it function accordingly based on appliance. Similarly when soul is in human vs animal vs trees/plants etc.
Now think as, if fan says I would like to be function as a bulb, is it possible? But we human want to act and behave like other living things e.g. our priest, poets says, do all the good deeds like a tree, it gives shadow in sunny day, gives fruit to satisfy hunger, gives wood for burning(warming) and building houses and other building material. It is exactly like we ask fan to be like a bulb and gives light to those are in dark and forget about wind.

Again on same metaphor, think of electricity in fan and have a concept to know about its previous life and it came to know in previous life, it was in fridge and live in cold and before that it was in television and gives entertainment etc and counting its deeds and always try to reach to ultimate goal to be part of bulb so that it gives light and remove darkness from this world. Isn't it funny to claim that I know about my previous life and now know my deeds from past life, that is why I am suffering or enjoying in this life.

So what does it means, we can do any crime in this life and there is no accounting, no one is there to bring the justice to bad people and reward good people. Again I will bring to metaphor of electricity which bring life to appliances. The electricity is passes through the bad refrigerator and spoiling food all the time, or electricity passes through the electric chair( used earlier to give capital punishment), basically to murder people, can we say in this case refrigerator or electric chair are doing all this crime. No they are surveying their purpose and had refrigerator is made with good quality parts ( means sperms and eggs from healthy human being, in case of humans) it would have function properly, electric chair is created only for the purpose to give the capital punishment , so it is serving it purpose. So whatever is happening is our life is has its own purpose and there is always has reason (either created for that purpose or created using bad parts).

So it means, even if you want to do crime ( which is by god is not intended), you cannot do, if you try to do bad deed by using all in your power, it may not be ever turn out to be bad for others, it may result in good, similarly if you try to good deed and it is not intended to be like that, it will turn into bad ( like electric shock is used to kill people as well to save people whose heart stop momentarily). Think it like this, we human are god for appliances and if appliances start claiming about misery or happiness in their life, what we human will say to those appliances?, just do your function as created for you and you serve your purpose, there is no concept of justice or injustice to any appliance, it is meant to be like that.

So if you are living your life under the impression that you are reaping the result of previous life it is complete bullshit and on the same note if you are living your present life to earn the reward for next life or heaven, again that is bullshit. There is only one life, that is only this.

There is no GOD

You will be wondering about this title, but this is literally true. In actual there is no GOD and even if exist is created by us human only, so it can't be supernatural, It is similar to like we human created computer, AI etc, but anything we create it will be always less than us, though we fantasia about that it will be a super power ( that is why we use to create sci-fi movies when computer AI starting thinking own its won and destroy human race).

If there is any super natural power exists, then why there is so much chaos, betrayal, corruption, injustice, poverty etc in this world. If there is some father/mother of human kind can they see their own children are back stabbing to each other ( being a parents can you see among your children, even whatever is their act, you will not reward/punish/harm a deed of their act).

All these temple,church etc, we created to so that we can expect a reward/punishment for our act either within our life or after life, but imagine there is no human exist, will there be a god to take care of trees,animals, sea lives etc or in reality do they even need to be taken care, It is not like we human or God is taking care of them, they are living own their own and dying own their own, not even praying to God , not even bothering about their acts etc. and in turn expecting any reward/punishment. But we human are always looking forward to God to do justice in our life, why?

It is because we human are ourself are GOD, this is another funny/astonishing fundamental, if you now put this in context of one of the major teaching of our spiritual gurus (live in present, forget about past or future, e.g. Echart Tolle book "Power of Now"). Since there is no GOD, so there is no destiny ( or man create his own destiny) again due to if you your future is arrive from your present so whatever you do in present, it will make your future and whatever you did in your past is become your present(concept of Karma), so now who is controlling your destiny, you yourself, there is no GOD is controlling, or one can say you yourself is GOD as you are the one who is controlling your own destiny.

But then another beautiful concept, if we are GOD, why didn't we have any supernatural power, again because GOD never ever have any supernatural power ( it is our fantasy about GOD that give him/her supernatural power, like we see in sci-fi movies related to computer AI) and yes there are some power but again within a limit of human being, like as we all know we hardly use 10% of our brain and if anyone develop (by accident) to use more than that and get some extra ordinary ability ( which we call supernatural power), we attribute that as GOD gifted power. So any given point of time GOD will never ever have any extra power which we human can't have, and what we did is accumulate all this fragmented power of individuals and attribute to one entity and called as GOD.

You even experience this in your own life many time, when you go to temple, church etc, and ask something to GOD, sometime it get fulfilled , sometime it didn't get fulfill and when it get fulfill , you attribute that is due to the grace of god/miracle of GOD and when it didn't get fulfill, we say it must be our deed or there is something better is stored for us or it is not a right time for us. But think this as yourself as parents, if your kids come to you and ask something, sometime you fulfill, sometime you didn't, but in either case kid knows (many times indirectly) why it get fulfill or not. If GOD is like our father/mother, will he/she let you in dark to understand why your wish is get fulfilled or not. No since there is no GOD, that is why you didn't know why it get fulfill or not, In actual your wish is based on your present moment(sometime in favor or sometime is not in your favor) and due to that it either get fulfilled or not ( again POWER of NOW).

And now since centuries we live under this impression about GOD, it is not a easy concept to accept, Now GOD is a hope, goal in our life and without any hope or goal we all of sudden become like a orphan, nowhere to go, no commandment, no rule, no obligation, and think of much bigger chaos in society and what will happen to our priest, minister, temples, churches etc? What will happen to peace we use to get when visiting special sacred place like temple,churches.

Actually this temple, priest, peace etc, is 50% human created for their own selfish reason and 50% is due to again "POWER of NOW", the moment you stop running from your daily chores and sit either quietly or meditate or chant some mantra you feel peace, but it is same as watching sports or movie, only thing sport/movies can induce emotions in you, while meditation etc, won't, but in either case you are deviated from your day to day chores and tension created by that chores. And since this temple, peace, silent sitting, mediation don't induce emotions and get you some time without emotions, it pamper our ego too , that we are doing some virtuous act.

Tension

We human live in tensions all the time, Why? Is god want us to be in tension , be in stress , be in worrying all the time. And what makes us to be be in stress.

There is multiple aspect to it:

What other will say about me?
How I will stay peacefully in future?
How I will secure my future?
What will happen to me, if I don't do something right now.
Am I doing the right thing?
What will happens to loved one, if I do any sins?
Am I too Selfish?
May be I am suppose to do something else, but doing something else.
Is the direction I pick, is right for me, is this god wish or I am going against god wishes.
How I will secure my old age, finically and emotionally.
When my loved ones will be settled, how?

See there are so many questions to be worrying about in this world, that you come out from one issue , another issue will be there to welcome you.

But my question is why all these issues are issues at first place itself.
Why we are looking ourself from other eyes, from society eyes?
Again it is due to some point of time, we pass the judgement on others about these issues and now when thinking about ourself in same situation, we get worried, and live the life in tension.

As in Bible there is story about Jesus, when he save a prostitute from stone pelting, and people ask Jesus to decide the punishment for her. Jesus say, I do not want to pass the judgement on other, so that someday some one pass the judgment on me.

And the funny part is almost all of us heard these stories but still not implementing in our lives to be tension free and then claiming why god is giving us all these tensions, issues etc.

It is not god who is giving us tension, it us ourself, living in our own dreamworld that we are virtuous and other are sinner, so I can not do anything wrong, but still in deep down we have all the thought about sin ( again it is as per our definition, not as per god, as god never come to us and say one action is virtuous and other is sin etc.) and finally get tension related to that.

Apart from that all the time we use our mind to learn from past and make our future better, As Eckhart Tolle in his Book 'Power of Now' mentioned about live in present, but we never live in present. We are not ready to give up our past, and not ready to give up our planning for future and fun part is, both of them are non existence, past is no more, future is not yet.

Again due to our teaching, learn from history, don't do same mistake again (if we are ready to give up my past, then how it is possible we will do the same mistake again as that mistake is happen now only, we do not know it happened it past or not), practice farsightness, plan for future etc.

Basically the root cause of all our misery, tension, issues are due to our up bringing, our parents, our teachers, our priest etc. and it is not their fault, as they also learn that from their parents like this. The whole society is forgetting day by day what is like to be a human, we are moving towards the robotic life, and in order to achieve success ( or even making a livelihood), one has to be mechanical (follows society norms) and ensure proper planning. which again take you to the journey of past ( learn from past) and to future , but never keep you in present.

So if you want to avoid any tension, issues, worries etc. forget about others, live in present and thankful to god for present moment.

Walking in Sleep

We are so asleep, that we are really living our life in a sleep and in turn we call it, we are doing the entire worldly things to protect our interest. And what is this interest, is nothing but our ego, that I built a house, I raise the kids, I live my life without any single mark.

But even when we take the things in material world wise, still it doesn’t make sense. We know for sure one earthquake or any natural disaster comes, the house I built will get destroyed, the kids I raised, will go on their life after they get matured, but still we want to keep clinging to them and keep them under arms like I can protect from all problems of world. And in by doing this we hurt ourselves, we hurts our loved ones and even those we didn’t even know. And losing our sleeps for things that is not in our control, and the funny part we know very well, we read all these kind of philosophical quotes about that, through out our lives, but never pay attention to follow any of them. These philosophical quotes are not given by any enlightened persons; these are given by scholars and so called by our leaders only.

But the irony is we don’t follow them, even a pinch of it and live in misery and hope for someday god will do miracle and take away all our misery from us. All the time we are afraid of someone is cheating us (not doubt there are persons whose aim is to the cheat only), but is it good to live in fear that whosoever comes in our life, is come to cheat us and we should protect our interest in all cost. Another funny part who want to cheat us, he/she will project that they are not cheater and finally cheat you, but due to that fear, we are not able to identify who is cheater or not, and finally or I will say always fall in hands to cheater.

And again due that fear in our mind, even someone does not want to cheat, but circumstances projected that he/she betrayed us; we tag that person as cheater and start the cycle again whosoever comes in our lives, is come to cheat us. Rather than looking for the circumstances and accepting the circumstances we just want to tag back to our fears (again this fear is nothing but our ego itself) and start protecting our interest( again our ego). It is such a vicious cycle we protect ego with ego but with different worldly names (“fear” is protected by “our interest”).

I think we should start praying to this ego, as this is having such a hold on humans, that it should be worshipped, so that it can protect us from itself.

Osho enlightened sannyasins still looking to get certificate from osho

I am reading about OSHO and listening OSHO constantly since last two months (without missing a single second, like I am reading, eating, breathing, sleeping, dreaming, drinking Osho all the time). And earlier I read all the books available at India railways station back in 1992-1995. After 15 years, now back to Osho teaching and no doubt, due to technology so vast information is available as compare to 92-95 times.

But after going through almost all the website, video interviews, forums etc. I am kind of disappointed with the current followers and sannyasins view about taking Osho momentum to next stage. Everyone is following OSHO words as it is , like they are again treating Osho discourses as "bible".

And specially Osho mentioned he not giving any commandments, he want everyone to experience themselves, instead of accepting his words as it is.

There is no doubt , there is role of master, but master can only show the door , his role finished after that, one has to walk own his own to that door and experience themselves.

Even in Osho discourses , he refer to old text, but try to give his meaning out of these text, and not only he , every one who try to explain to this human society, has to refer to old text, as it is embedded in our mind since birth, so in order to communicate with this society, you have use old text and give your meaning as per new world situations.

But everywhere, all the magazines, interviews, discourses have the back reference to OSHO writings/teachings, like everyone looking to get a certificate from Osho still, that whatever teaching , experience they are passing/sharing to you, is mentioned in Osho discourse also.

I can understand, as a normal person (not enlightened), one has tendency to prove themselves (another function of mind), that is why they are referencing back to Osho teaching, but what about those who claim enlightened (state of no-mind), they still need to get a certificate from Osho.

Life and Ocean

Life is like waves in ocean. As ocean can't be remain still, similarly life will not remain still, if it become still than it is not a life, it will be like a pond or lake and even wind make a waves in pond and lake. So if we say the life of enlightenment person is like pond or lake and only sometime big wind can make a waves in it. It is wrong as, life is ocean, infinite no end, no beginning, even the life on enlightenment person is ocean and there are constant waves in it. But the enlightenment is like a shore, and all the waves finally end at shore and when wave is ending at shore there is so much of joy, so much of sound that I am ending at shore.

But then why Buddha, Mahavira look so calm and controlled after enlightenment, treat this is like, there is vast shore and a one shore near cliff. Both are shore and buddha and all other enlightenment person, along with us ( non-enlightenment beings) are water. if water reached to vast shore and with big force and rush towards the far end of shore and now every wave cann't reach there, that part of the shore will look like a very calm while the part next to ocean will have all the waves keep coming and going.

So Buddha and Mahavira are person who reach to far end and while enlightenment persons are keep touching the enlightenment with every wave and may be on the side of shore where there is a cliff so there is no resting period.

Now where are non-enlightenment beings , they are still in ocean and want to reach to shore. And waves are up and down of the life, but if you reach to shore ,all these wave have finally get vanish and that is what enlightenment is, and there is so much of joy when wave is getting subsidize, it create all the white pure foam, with great sound , that make ocean a distinct personality in a natural world.

Now think of Buddha and Mahavira are far end of shore, see all enlightenment beings are playing like kid and enjoying at edge of shore and ocean and while all non-enlightenment beings are in back deep in ocean , not even aware how much joy is there at shore, they still want to stay in deep ocean as do feel their identity will get lost if they come near to shore, but water remain water whether it stay in ocean or in sand or play at shore.

Materialist world vs Spiritual world

we are corrupted by our religion, faith, and perception about spiritual world. It has become a very dangerous situation in today world. I think we should burn all the books and teaching of all the gurus, or lock them and allow only to those, who are ready to enter the spiritual world.

What is happening in today's world, we read, listen and try to adopt the teaching of these guru's who attain the enlightenment and try to follow a bit and pieces of their teaching in our lives, but these teaching are meant to attain the enlightenment or life style after enlightenment, and when we follow these and still remain or want to remain in materialist world, it create a unknown issues in ourselves and we attribute this our sins in past and constantly living in misery.

As in west people are more attuned for materialist world and partly remain happy ( again I am saying partly, as completeness is possible by spirituality only), while in east people want to adopt the teaching of spirituality and still want to remain in materialist world of selfishness of non-selfishness, greed, lust, money etc. and now living a miserable life, why it is like that? Even they are following the teaching of spiritual world ( where complete happiness is possible). Also it is known fact when a western enter into spiritual world , it is become relatively easy for them to follow.

It is only due to that western mind is more pure ( not in term of holy pure), they didn't live their life with perception of "tapaysa". When they are ready to enter the world of spirituality, they are not looking for earthly pleasure ( because their stomach are full of all these desires), now they are ready for next step in ladder of human evolution.

While is east we are looking for end goal but the step toward that goal is still not been taken ( still deprived of all desires) and wanted complete happiness, always repenting and living in misery, even following the teaching of spiritual guru's. Again they are not following the spiritual teachings fully, only bits and pieces, as to follow completely, one has to give up the materialist desires or I would say fear that if I follow completely, I would not able to enjoy the materialist desires. And it is true once reach to enlightenment the happiness from materialist world is insignificant (it doesn't mean they do not give happiness, they still do give happiness but it is like adult is eating a candy, as candy is very important material for kids, not for adults, but both enjoy, only the scale/measure of enjoyment is changed from kid to adult).

So I would recommend whosoever have these feeling that they are doing the right things as per their teachings and in return they are getting misery, stop following any religious and spiritual teaching and do exact opposite to those, if one stay do fast, you will say I will eat more, if one say do not get angry, make sure you will show your anger, if one says "giving" is way of life, you should start doing "selfish" act, if one says lust and sex is "door to hell" , you will make sure you learn more about those in new ways and see how you can fulfill in safe manner( here I mean to say safe manner, is not get the disease, do it with your partner as often as much as you can do).

By doing all these , you will at least reach to the stage of "partial happiness" and now if you are ready to enter the wold of spirituality, then following the teaching of these spiritual guru's, it will definitely make a difference in your life and you will reach to enlightenment stage. As unless until you follow the steps in ladder, you cannot reach to the top, you have to go through the step of "partial happiness" ( happiness from materialist world desires) and then happiness of "tapaysa" step, finally the step of "enlightenment".
